Frances was called to the bar in 1998 after obtaining
her law degree at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland and a further
degree at the University of New Brunswick. Since 2000, Frances has
practiced Family Law and Civil Litigation in the Region of Peel.
Frances has appeared before all levels of court except the Supreme
Court of Canada, and has conducted trials and appeals in both Family
Law and Civil Litigation. Frances is a former President of the Peel Law
Association, and currently sits on the Executive of the County and
District Law Presidents Association. She is Vice-Chair of the Board of
LibraryCo and is a member of the Advocates' Society. Frances sits as a
Dispute Resolution Officer in the Region of Peel as well as a Deputy
Judge of the Small Claims Court. |

Rae obtained her B.A. in Native Studies and
Anthropology from Trent University and her LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law
School. After articling at a downtown law firm, Rae was called to the
bar in 2000. Since then, she has worked in both Huntsville and in the
Region of Peel, building and establishing her practice primarily in the
areas of Family and Criminal Law. Rae is currently on the executive of
the Peel Law Association. |

Family Law, and Wills and Estates. Jennifer represents clients involved
in litigation as well as in out of court negotiations. Jennifer is a
long standing member of the Peel Law Association. |

| Mahvish H.

Mahvish obtained her B.A. in psychology at York
University and went on to complete her LL.B. at Osgoode Hall Law
School. After articling with the Department of Justice and Public
Prosecution Service of Canada, she was called to the Bar in 2008.
Mahvish practiced as a Federal Crown with the Public Prosecution
Service of Canada subsequent to her call and even completed a
secondment with the Tax section of the Department of Justice during her
time with the federal government. Mahvish joined Wood, White and Gold
in 2011 and has been practicing primarily in the area of family law
since that time. In her spare time, Mahvish volunteers as a community
mediator on two separate rosters in Toronto and Durham Region. She is
also a current member of the Peel Law Association. |

| Leah Simeone,

Leah
graduated with a Honours degree in History from Queen’s
University before receiving her law degree from the University of
Ottawa in 2011. When she was awarded her law degree, she was also
granted the Social Justice Option and the Dean’s Award for
excellence. Leah then articled with the Ministry of the Attorney
General until her call to the bar in June 2012. Leah is a member
of the Pro Bono Lawyers of Canada, Canadian Bar Association, Ontario
Bar Association, Toronto Lawyers Association, the Peel Law Association
and the Women’s Legal Education Action Fund (LEAF). Leah
joined Wood White and Gold in 2013, practicing primarily family
law. Leah looks forward to providing understanding legal guidance
to her clients. |
